Currently there are two Sharp projector lamps that are popular for auditoriums, large conference rooms, and other big classrooms.
XG-C430X This Sharp video projector utilizes 3LCD and micro lens technology for superior picture quality. It has a brightness level of 4000 ANSI lumens, which makes it ideal for large venues with virtually any type of lighting condition. The brightness of this Sharp LCD projector makes the image appear clear and sharp. The native display resolution for this projector is 1024 by 768. This model also comes with a standard lens and four additional optical lenses. This feature assures that the XG-C430X can be used in a variety of different settings and environments. This model has various audio options. For example, this projector has selectable variable or fixed audio output. This means that you can use the speakers that come with the projector or use the house audio system. There are also four discrete stereo audio outputs to be used with two RGB and two video sources. This Sharp projector also comes with a quiet setting, a front tilt leveler, direct power on and off features and security features as well. This model can be installed using any Sharp projector mounts. XG-PH50X The other popular large venue multimedia projector that Sharp makes is the XG-PH50X. It utilizes DLP technology and comes equipped with a 3X speed color wheel for realistic color reproduction and brightness. This Sharp DLP projector comes equipped with four modes of brightness settings. Its standard mode is 4000 ANSI lumens, but it also has 3000 lumens, 2000 lumens, and 1500 lumens. This selection of brightness modes means that this projector can be used in both large and small setting with any light conditions. This Sharp projector also uses dual lamp technology. This means that if one lamp fails the other will automatically take over so there is no interruption in the projection. It also has six optical lenses and a power zoom and power focus feature. This means the projector can be used in a variety of settings and special applications. Another advantageous feature is the lens shift. This model has both vertical and horizontal adjustments.
