Eiki is a company that was founded in 1953 in Osaka, Japan. It gets its name from the phonetic Japanese spelling for the word picture machine. Unlike other electronics companies, Eiki only manufactures projectors. In addition, you will not find their line up in retail stores or consumer outlets, Eiki projectors are sold through a network of audio video professionals.
Eiki classifies its projectors into five categories to make finding the one that’s right for you simple. Widescreen Home Theatre There are currently three home theatre Eiki projector lamps available. All three utilize DLP technology, meaning that the image is diplayed by light reflecting through a chip made up of tine mirrors. These mirrors amplify the light for quality pictures at a high resolution. The EIP-1500T model has power zoom and focus and boasts 1200 lumens. The EIP-1600T model has manual zoom and focus and also boasts 1200 lumens. The EIP-1000T model also has manual zoom and focus but has only 1000 lumens. Widescreen Presentation There are currently three models of Eiki projector parts geared at widescreen presentations. These projectors support both computer and video sources. The LC-HDT10 has a HDTV LCD projector, though the lens is not included. This model has a brightness measurement of 5500 lumens. The LC-W4 is a WXGA LCD projector and offers 4700 lumens. The LC-W3 model is also a WXGA LCD projector but offers only 3000 lumens of brightness. Large Venue These Eiki troubleshooting projectors are designed for auditorium or other large venue viewings. These projectors work best on large screens as their Eiki LC color video projector bulbs are high powered. These types of projectors offer interchangeable lenses and input modules. There are currently five large venue models available. Boardroom There are five models of Eiki projectors that work ideally in conference rooms or boardrooms. They all offer power zoom and focus with over 4000 lumens. Four of the models use LCD technology, and one is a DLP projector. Classroom This is the largest category of projectors manufactured by Eiki. They are ideal in smaller settings such as meeting rooms or classrooms. These projectors are typically the smallest, lightest, and most economical. They can be used as portable projectors, mounted from the ceiling, or placed on a stand. There are currently eleven models in this category of projectors to choose from. These models all have manual focus and zoom and can be either DLP or LCD projectors. The brightness of these models ranges from 2000 to 4000 lumens. |
